2026 marks the 34th edition of the regatta which was established in 1993. The event is based out of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club’s Middle Island clubhouse; with sailors competing in a variety of windward/leeward and geometric and island courses,.  Competing yachts can expect the best of Hong Kong’s sailing conditions; excellent breeze, blue skies, warm friendly waters and great parties.

IRC yachts racing in China Coast Regatta may form teams in order to compete in the Hong Kong Kettle.  Teams shall consist of two boats from different divisions. The team with the lowest combined score as shall win the Hong Kong Kettle Trophy.
