原訂十月八日至十一日舉行的「中國海岸帆船賽2021」，因應熱帶氣旋獅子山吹襲，延遲一星期至十月十五至十七日舉行。 「中國海岸帆船賽」屬於香港遊艇會本賽季首個大船級別大型賽事，賽事始於一九九三年，第二十九屆賽事以香港遊艇會中途島為基地，三十一艘帆船分別出戰TP52組別、IRC競賽1、2、3組、IRC休閒組別及HKPN等六個組別，將於香港東面及南面水域進行連番激戰。賽事主任Inge Strompf-Jepsen在為期三日的賽事中，將會安排不同繞標賽以及島嶼賽，全面考驗船隊的操控能力。 TP52組別總共有四隻TP52型帆船參加，雖然去年勇奪組別冠軍、由康曉陽掌舵的「Alpha+號」被睇高一線，不過陳永燊的「FreeFire號」在中國海岸帆船賽富有多年經驗，兩隊以華人為主的船隊，包括由Robert Wiest、谷豪明及何偉健David Ho旗下的「鳳凰號」以及陳維澤的「Rampage 88號」亦會力爭殊榮。 IRC競賽1組船隻的實力亦不容忽視，Mills 41型的「Ambush號」、Ker 46型的「Zannekin號」以及Ker 42 Custom型的

Having been postponed for a week thanks to Tyhoon Lionrock, the China Coast Regatta will be held from 15 to 17 October. 2021 marks the 29th edition of the China Coast Regatta, Hong Kong’s premier big boat event which was established in 1993.
